The old Metro yard adjoining the line has been selected as the site for the rolling stock depot. This will be big enough to hold 13 sets of 30 m cars and will be equipped with an indoor inspection track to allow daily inspections, an indoor repair track to allow simple repairs, and a washing track (not fitted with an automatic washing machine).
The depot will contain the following facilities and cover a total area of approximately 1 ha.
Storage track: 160 m, 3 lines
Inspection track: 60 m, 1 line
Repair track: 60 m, 1 line
Washing track: 60 m, 1 line
Lead track: 40 m, 1 line
Buildings: Inspection and repair depot, administration block
Machinery, tools
Regarding the periodic inspection and repair of rolling stock, it is planned to consign this to external bodies (Metro, etc.) in order to achieve lower costs.
